Betty Parker Scott, 85, of Gibsonville, went to be with the Lord Sunday February 11, 2024 at White Oak Manor in Burlington, NC
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday February 15, 2024 at Pleasant View Assembly of God with Pastor Benjamin Loftis, Pastor Gary Loftis and Bishop Floyd Vaught officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will see friends Thursday February 15, 2024 at the church 1:00 till 2:00 P.M. before the service.
A native of Cumberland County, NC she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Betty Holland Parker and had lived in Caswell County most of her life. She was a member of Reidsville Church of God and attended Pleasant View Assembly of God most recently, A retired employee of Burlington Industries Williamsburg Plant and she enjoyed sewing, cooking, working in her flowers, and she looked forward to spending time with her family at family gatherings. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband: Barney Scott, an infant daughter: Becky Scott, a granddaughter: Jennifer Scott, a son-in-law: Kenny Frye, five brothers: Leo Parker, Stanley Parker, Nelson Parker, Howard Parker, Clarence Parker, and a sister: Mary Drewery.
Survivors include her sons: Bobby Scott (Anne) of Elon, Jimmy Scott (Sandra) and Danny Scott of Gibsonville, daughters: Patricia Paschal (Alonza) of Reidsville, Linda Frye of Chapel Hill, and Anita Capps (Huey) of Burlington, nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. A number of loving nieces and nephews and her beloved cat “Katy”.
