Betty Lee Stanley Penley

Betty Lee Stanley Penley, 58, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Thursday December 5, 2024 at her home.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of her late mother Lula Stanley Ferrell and her late step-father Henry Ferrell and had lived in the Reidsville area for most of her life. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed listening to country music, shopping especially at Walmart, and talking on the telephone. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling to Cherokee, NC.

Survivors include her sons: William Jesse “Billy” Penley and Paul Dewayne Penley (Elysia Smith) both of Reidsville, William Frederick Branscome of France and Robert Vance Branscome of Kernersville, daughter: Jessica Penley of Boone, half-sister: Mary Ferrell of Farmville, VA, special aunt: Betty Smith (Grady, Jr.) of Liberty, uncles: Michael Stanley of Reidsville and Rusty Evans of Reidsville; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
