Barbara Coleman Butler, 72, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Monday May 18, 2020 at her home.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday May 20, 2020 in Camp Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Born in Whiteville, NC, she spent her early life in Lake Waccamaw, before living most of her life in the Camp Springs Community of Caswell County. A daughter of the late Jesse and Annie Strickland Coleman, she was a retired employee of Burlington Industries. Barbara enjoyed working in her flowers, reading, watching Hallmark Movies, and most of all enjoyed spending Saturdays with her girls.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Louis E. Butler, sisters: Mary Ward and Reba Fowler and her husband Billy Fowler, and brothers: Buddy Coleman and Robert Coleman and her brother-in-law: Bobby Fowler.
Survivors include her twin daughters: Belinda B. Shreve and husband Randall of Reidsville and Brenda B. Angle and husband Clay of Milton, NC, grandchildren: Hunter Brooks and Austin Shreve both of Reidsville, brothers: Roger Coleman and wife Diane and Frank Coleman and wife Earlene both of Lake Waccamaw, NC, sisters: Louise Fowler of Whiteville, NC and Annette Duncan of Mullins, SC, special friends: Ann Smith, Bonnie Roach, and Jonathon Miles.
The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Rockingham County and to her caregivers: Vee Wade and Pam Smith for their care and concern throughout Mrs. Butler’s illness.
