Barbara Trent Boone

Barbara Ann Trent Boone, 91, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the home of her sister. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, February 3, 2025 in Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. William Alex Miles officiating. A native of Reidsville, she was a daughter of the late John T. and Frances Mills Trent and she had spent most all of her life here. Barbara was a retired beautician and home maker. She was a graduate of Reidsville High School class of 1952 and she graduated from Troutman’s Beauty School on January 7, 1964. Barbara owned and operated a beauty shop in her home for many years and she had a deep love for babies and children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Joel Ralph Boone, her brothers: Bud Trent, Cotton Trent, William Trent and Bobby Trent and by her sisters: Mattie Ruth Chapmon, Nannie King Wall, Blanche Soyars, Edna Soyars, Frances Trent, Lucille Trent, Polly Arthur, Mary Miles, and Clyde Tester. She is survived by her grandson: Ricky Chrismon, and her great grandson: Matthew Chrismon, and by many loving nieces and nephews. The family will see friends from 6:00 till 8:00 PM Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Citty Funeral Home.
