Audrey Thomas Borland

Audrey Thomas Borland, 88, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Sunday September 21, 2025 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday September 25, 2025 at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Chapmon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will see friends 1:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the church before the service, in the fellowship hall following the service and at other times at the home of her daughter Jennie Still 1201 Ashley Loop Rd. Reidsville, NC.

A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late Edgar Price and Mildred Stokes Thomas and had lived in the Mt. Hermon community of Rockingham County most of her life. A home maker, she was a member of Mt Hermon Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery and enjoyed working in the church kitchen. She loved gardening, and cooking and sharing the bounty of both with others.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Philip Borland, a son: John Philip Borland, a sister: Lucy T. Carter.

Survivors include her daughters: Julia B. Sparks (Phillip) of Ruffin, Jennie B. Still (Robert) of Reidsville, sons: James Edgar Borland (Tammy) of Eden, and Jerry David Borland of the home, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and cousins.
