William Bunton Obituary

William Boyd “Billy” Bunton, 62, of Eden, formerly of Reidsville, died at his home on Sunday, February 24, 2019.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday March 9, 2019 in Greenview Cemetery. A reception will follow at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.

A native of Reidsville, he was a son of the late James S. and Edna Rivers Bunton and had lived in Reidsville most of his life. Billy was a former employee of Lakeview Memorial Park and a US Coast Guard Veteran. He was a 1975 graduate of Reidsville Senior High, an Eagle Scout and a former Scoutmaster of Troop 738 affiliated with St. Thomas Episcopal Church.

Surviving is his brother: James Lee Bunton of Reidsville.

There will be no formal visitation. Memorials may be made to help with funeral expenses on our website.
