Warren McGehee Shreve

Warren McGehee "Pete" Shreve,85, died Wednesday,March 13, 2019.  Military Graveside Rites will be conducted at 2:00PM Monday, March 18, 2019, in Roselawn Memorial Gardens performed by the Rockingham Co. Veteran’s Honor Guard.

A native of Rockingham Co., he was a son of the late Charlie Clem and Minnie Myrtle Talley Shreve and had lived in Rockingham Co. all of his life.  He was a retired owner of Shreve Garage, a member of the V.F.W. Post # 8297 and the Rockingham Veterans Honor Guard.  Warren was  preceded in death by his brothers;  Cecil B. “Flip”, Charlie “Jack”, Samuel J. “ Sam”, and Eugene T. “Gene” Shreve, sisters;  Eunice S. Fagge, Ruth S. Hutcherson, & Hilda S. Stone, and 1 grandson;  Gary Dean Potts Jr.

Surviving are daughters;  Micki S. Wells (Otis) of Reidsville and Sonya S. Potts of Reidsville, grandchildren;  Nicki Potts, Timmy Potts, Cody Potts, Chad Wells, & Brittany Benfield (Nick), 16 Great Grandchildren.
