Sarah Tuttle Walker

Sarah Tuttle Walker, 86, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday July 4, 2018 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Saturday July 7, 2018 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Elder David Underwood officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late John Ellis and Alma Tate Tuttle and had lived in Rockingham County her entire life. She was a homemaker  and  was of the Primitive Baptist faith.  Mrs. Walker loved her flowers and she enjoyed sharing family memories.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Warren C. Walker, brothers: Ellis Tuttle, Melvin Tuttle, Roger Tuttle, and a sister: Alma Tuttle Sparks.

Survivors include son: Van W. Walker of Reidsville, daughter: Teresa W. Jarrett of Summerfield, brothers: W.F. Tuttle and wife Esther, Gaynard Tuttle and wife Deborah, Pete Tuttle and wife Vivian all of Reidsville, sister: Claudene T, Page and husband Harold of Ruffin, grandchildren;  Amy W. Robertson (Christopher), Derrick Walker (Crystal), Derek Lovings, Ethan Jarrett, & Morgan Jarrett and great grandchildren;  Savannah, Alec, Alivia, Joshua, Hayden, and Emma.

The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Friday July 6, 2018 at Citty Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of her son:  Van Walker  424 Massey Rd.  Reidsville, NC 27320. Memorials may be made to:  Hospice of Rockingham Co. P.O. Box 281  Wentworth, NC 27375.  The family would like to thank the staff of Chilton’s Family Care Home and the Hospice Home of Rockingham Co. for their loving care during Mrs. Walker’s  illness.
