Sadie Mae (Tate) Zimmerman

Sadie Mae Tate Zimmerman, 76, was called home on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM Friday, July 20, 2018, at Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Craddock officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Aubrey Raymond and Lillian Mae Paschal Tate and had lived in the Williamsburg Community most of her life.  She was a home maker, a member of Faith Baptist Church for over 35 years and she had attended Solid Rock Baptist Church.  Mrs. Zimmerman was a Godly Lady and she loved the people that she loved, especially her family.  She was a great cook, loved camping, going to the beach and mountains with her family.  Mrs. Zimmerman was preceded in death by her parents, her husband:  Harold “Sonny” Zimmerman, her daughter-in-law:  Dale Moore McDaniel, and her brothers:  Felton Tate, Clyde Tate, Grady Tate, Wade Tate, and Larry Tate.

Surviving is her son;  Dwayne McDaniel of Reidsville, daughter;  Wendy McDaniel of Reidsville, step-son;  Dwayne Zimmerman of Burlington, step-daughter;  Phyllis Zimmerman of Ramseur, sister;  Vernie T. Stone of Reidsville, grandchildren;  Melissa Hodnett (Jamie), Brock Wilson, Amber Hollifield (Eddie), Susan French (Adam), Beth Cochran (Danny), Brandy Zimmerman, Nicholas Smith, and Derek Smith (Debbie), 12 great grandchildren.

The family will see friends from 6:00 till 8:00PM Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Citty Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the residence 671 Grooms Rd.  Reidsville, NC 27320  Memorials may be made to;  Solid Rock Baptist Church  114 N. High St.  Eden, NC 27288.
