Roger Lynn Citty

Roger Lynn Citty, 66, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 25, 2018.

Born in Reidsville, North Carolina on December 17, 1951, son of Roy and Kathleen (Lawrence) Citty. Raised and educated in Reidsville, Roger graduated Reidsville High School. He moved to South Florida in 1983. Before his retirement, he worked as a pipefitter for Advanced Systems in Fort Lauderdale; He was a member of Sprinkler Fitter Local 821.

Survived by his wife of 24 years, Dianne (Kaufman) Citty, his sister, Kathy Citty, four children: April Citty, Jonah (Erin Crawford) Citty, Jason (Laura) Citty and Justin Citty, 3 stepchildren: Sara (Jeremiah) Honeycutt-Buchanan, Lisa (Corey) Liberski and Michael (April) Honeycutt. Also survived by 17 grandchildren: Sage Liberski, Joshua Honeycutt, Ali Irizarry, Karina Honeycutt, Lexi Alfrey, Killian Liberski, Abigail Citty, Sarah Burnett, Kyra Liberski, Evan Liberski, Johnny Valentine, India Buchanan, Kasey Burnett, Tanner Citty, Julian Citty, Jameson Citty and Isabella Citty and one great grandchild, Emilio Irizarry.

Visitation on Sunday, June 3rd from 3:00 -5:00 P.M. with a Celebration of Roger's Life beginning at 4:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. 

Roger will be laid to rest at a later date at Greenview Cemetery, Reidsville, N.C
