Regina King Denny

Regina King “Jean Gray” Denny, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00PM Monday, May 14, 2018, in Citty Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late James Benton and Regina Stewart King and had lived in Reidsville all of her life.  She owned and operated the Peanut Shack in the Pennrose Mall for many years, and she was a member of Reidsville Christian Church.  Jean Gray was preceded in death by her brother;  Reggie King.

Surviving is her husband;  Curtis Denny of the home, son;  Curt Denny (Lori Beth) of Reidsville, daughters; Kim Brown (Joel) and Angie Moore (Bradley) both of Reidsville, grandchildren;  Kristina Brown, Dale Moore (Brooke), Meagan Denny, Jennifer Stanley (Ryan), Zack Denny (Chelsey), Shannon Moore, and Adam Porter, great grandchildren;  Logan Denny, Aubrey Moore, and Scarlett Denny, sister-in-law; Janet King of Reidsville.

The family will see friends from 6:00 till 8:00PM Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Citty Funeral Home and at other times at the home on 216 Penn Lake Dr.  Reidsville, NC 27320.  Memorials may be made to:  Hospice of Rockingham Co.  P.O. 281 Wentworth, NC  27375.  Online condolences may be made at www.cittyfh.com
