Numa Allen Winstead, Jr.

Numa Allen “Mike” Winstead, 77, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Tuesday August 14, 2018 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday August 17, 2018 in Reidlawn Cemetery.

A native of Rockingham County he was a son of the late Numa Allen Winstead, Sr. and Ollie Shreve Winstead and had lived in Rockingham County most of his life. He was a retired supervisor at  American Tobacco Co. and was a US Air Force veteran. Mike was preceded in death by his half-brother: Livingston Smith.

Survivors include: his wife Judith East “Judi” Winstead of the home, and a nephew that was raised as a brother: Dan Smith and wife Sandy of Montgomery, TX.

The family would like to thank Dr. Hawkins and his staff, the caregivers at Brookdale Home Health, the nurses in Annie Penn Hospital ICU, and Hospice of Rockingham County for their care and concern.

There will be no formal visitation. The family will receive friends at the residence.
