Michael Laborn Hunter, Sr., 72, of Reidsville, NC formerly of Burlington, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday June 13, 2018 at his home.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday June 18, 2018 in Pine Hill Cemetery Burlington, NC.
A native of Alamance County, he was a son of the late Michael L. and Vallerree Campbell Hunter and had lived in Rockingham County most of his life. He was a retired freight broker for the trucking industry. A former member of Deep Springs Country Club, he enjoyed golf and shag dancing to beach music. Michael was preceded in death by his wife: Judith Fitch “Judy” Hunter.
Survivors include his sons: Michael L. Hunter, Jr. and Chris M. Hunter both of Reidsville, grandchildren: Justin Hunter, Rebecca Hunter, and Brett Hunter, three great grandchildren, and cousins: Johnny Michaels and Ralph Doggett.
The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 PM Sunday June 17, 2018 at Citty Funeral Home.
