Maude Talley Spencer Wilson Obituary
Maude Catherine Talley Spencer Wilson, 93, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Saturday June 30, 2018. at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday July 5. 2018 at College Park Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenview Cemetery. The family will see friends 1:00 till 2:00 P.M. Thursday July 5, 2018 one hour before the funeral service at College Park Baptist Church and at other times will be at the home of her daughter Debbie Fain 3250 NC Hwy 14 Reidsville.
A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late John Lee and Emma Green O’Bryant Talley and had lived in Reidsville most of her life. She was a member of College Park Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband: Elvin Paul Wilson, sons: Elvin Paul Wilson, Jr., Jerry Wilson , Jim Spencer, and Rodney Spencer, daughters: Shirley W. Morrison, Yvonne W. Plyler, and Sandra Wilson, brothers: Charlie Talley and Ulysses Talley, sisters: Claudia T. Dixon, Clara T. Strader, Janie T. Shelton and Ruth T. Knight, and a granddaughter: April Dawn Wilson.
Survivors include sons: Bobby G. Spencer and wife Pat, Richard D. Wilson and wife Kimberly, Samuel J. Wilson and wife Gay, and Danny G. Wilson and wife Barbara all of Reidsville, daughters: Ruby Lee Tate of Cliffside, NC, Bonnie W. Boswell, and Debbie W. Fain and husband Forrest both of Reidsville, Thirty-four grandchildren, sixty-nine great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Roy Fagan and his staff, the staff and management of Hospice of Rockingham County, Kindred at Home, and Annie Penn Hospital for their care and concern throughout Mrs. Wilson’s illness.
