Laura Rutz Sloan

Laura Rutz Sloan, 58, of Caswell Co. died Friday, May 11, 2018, at Moses Cone Hospital.

A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00PM Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Holy Infant Catholic Church and a Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Holy Infant Catholic Church conducted by Father Frank Seabo.  Burial will follow in Greenview Cemetery.

A native of Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of Donald Rutz and the late Florence Bronaugh Rutz and had lived in Caswell Co. for the past 8 years.  Laura was a  retired Paralegal and a graduate of St. Mary’s of the Woods College in Indiana.

Surviving is her husband;  John L. Sloan II of the home, her father;  Donald Rutz Sr. (Jo) of East Troy, WI, son;  Sean Patrick Joseph Collins of Melbourne, FL, daughter;  Katharine Claire Collins of Melbourne, FL, brother;  Donald Rutz Jr. of Blue Island, IL, sisters;  Robin R. Whiteley of Columbia MO and Carey R. Gave of Williamsville, IL.
