Judy Brown Byrd, 69, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday January 9, 2019 at her home.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday January 11, 2019 in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

There will be no formal visitation. The family will see friends at the residence.

A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late Obie Madison Brown, Jr. and the late Geraldine Brown Newby and had lived most of her life in Reidsville. She was a former employee of Burlington Industries and had most recently worked for Curis at Reidsville Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center. A member of Bible Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband: James Robert Byrd, a sister: Sherry Brown, and a brother: Steve M. Brown.

Survivors include a son: Robert G. Byrd (Wendy) of Reidsville, a daughter: Tammy B. Pulliam and fiancé  Tex Burns, Jr. of Reidsville, sisters: Patsy Wagoner of Reidsville and Lisa Adkins (Bobby) of Chatham, VA, grandchildren: Steven Byrd, Dylan Byrd (Chelsea), Jeffrey Pulliam, Jr. (Mandy), Jacob Pulliam (Elizabeth), Jamie Burns, and four great grandchildren.

Citty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
