Jerry W. Alderman lost his battle with cancer Saturday April 20, 2019.

He left behind a wife of forty-one years; Shelby Roberts Alderman, two step-sons; Tim Isley of Reidsville and Harold Isley (Alice) of New Bern, a precious granddaughter; Taylor Isley of Goldsboro, and a sister; Nancy Duncan of Martinsville, VA.

Jerry was an active member of Monticello United Church of Christ. After college, his interest went to the furniture industry. He retired from the National Home Furnishings Association looking forward to a slower pace of life.

A memorial service will be held by the family at 3:00 pm Sunday May 5, 2019 at Monticello United Church of Christ. The family will see friends following the service, and at other times will be at the residence.

Citty Funeral home is assisting the Alderman family.
