Harold Knight Simpson, 90, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday August 1, 2018 at Annie Penn Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday August 4, 2018 at Grace Fellowship at South Park. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will see friends 1:00 till 2:00 P.M. Saturday August 4, 2018 one hour before the service at the church and at other times will be at the residence.

A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Alphonzo and Miriam Knight Simpson and had lived in Rockingham County his entire life. He was the retired owner/operator of H. K. Simpson and Son Brick Masons and was a member of the Merchant Marines during WWII. He was a long time member of The Reidsville Rescue Squad and was well known for his story telling. A member of Grace Fellowship at South Park, he was an active member of the Men’s Fellowship at his church. Harold was preceded in death by three brothers: Wesley Simpson, Wallace Simpson, and Elwood Simpson.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years: Louise Martin Simpson of the home, daughter: Cindy S. Yount (Al) of Matthews, NC, son: Mickey Simpson (Patricia) of Summerfield, NC, grandchildren: Josh Yount (Mandy) of Charlotte, Emily Haake (Dana) of Weddington, NC, Tony Spencer (Heather) of Raleigh, NC, Heather Hubbard (John) of Reidsville, NC, great grandchildren: Noah Haake, Eli Haake, Simon Spencer, Violet Spencer, Jack Hubbard, Ellie Hubbard, Reese Hubbard.
