Gary Ronald Turner, 68, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Monday February 25, 2019 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday March 9, 2019 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel. The family will see friends following the service at the funeral home.

A native of Hickory, NC, he was the son of the late J.R. and Rebecca Huffman Turner and had lived most of his life in Reidsville. He was an employee of the Harris Teeter Distribution Center, a US Navy veteran, and was a former volunteer firefighter with the Reidsville Fire Department.

Survivors include his love: Katie Shore of the home, daughters: Andrea Turner and Jamie Turner of Reidsville, sisters: Judy Aukward (Steve) of Roanoke, VA, Joyce Cate (Wayne) and Kathy Carpenter (Dale) both of Concord, NC, two grandchildren: Chasity and Mason.
