Emma Neville Talley

Emma Neville Talley, 87, of Reidsville, NC went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 8, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday October 11, 2018 at Baptist Temple Church with Rev. George Fox and Pastor Ryan Burris officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

A native of Reidsville, she was a daughter of the late Bud and Nellie Smith Neville Lookabill and had lived in Reidsville her entire life. She was a retired supervisor at AT&T with 34 years of service and a very active member of Baptist Temple Church, where she served on the Bereavement Committee. Emma’s life consisted of taking care of others above self. She took care of her mother, mother-in-law and stepfather for many years and loved to visit shut-ins. She loved her church family and attended church services faithfully until she was not physically able. Emma was preceded in death by her husband:  Floyd Lee Talley, brothers: Reuben Ware and Emory Ware and step-father:  John W. Lookabill .

Survivors Include: daughters: Deborah T. “Debbie” Tucker (James) and Cynthia T. Nykamp both of Reidsville, brother: John Lookabill of New York, NY, sisters: Judy Montgomery and Linda Rippy (Allen) both of Reidsville, grandchildren: David Tucker (Susan), Dawn Johnson, Chassidy Stanley (Joe), Chris Millsap (Amanda),nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren .

The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 Wednesday October 10, 2018 at Citty Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of her daughter Debbie Tucker 2911 Country Lane Reidsville, NC
