Eddie Davidson Sizemore

Eddie Cora Sizemore, 96, of McLean, VA, formerly of Reidsville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at her daughter’s home in McLean where she had been in hospice care. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00PM Monday, January 27, 2020 at Citty Funeral Home Chapel and burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. A native of Rockingham County, she was the daughter of the late Edward H. Davidson and Mattie DeLancey Davidson DeLapp and step-father, Royal DeLapp.  She had lived in McLean, VA for the past three years after selling her Belmont Drive home.  Mrs. Sizemore was a retired employee of the American Tobacco Company, a member of Woodmont United Methodist Church and a member of Pennrose Park Country Club where she enjoyed playing golf “with the girls.” She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. (Bill) Sizemore, a brother, Mike DeLapp and a sister, Alice Dill. Survivors include her daughter, Jill Sizemore Eastland and her husband, Terry of McLean, VA, a granddaughter, Katherine Messenger and husband, Robert, of Blue Hill, ME, two great-grandsons, Thomas Eastland and Oliver Edward, who was named after his great-grandmother.
