David Lyman Deberry, 66, of McLeansville, NC went to be with the Lord Tuesday June 12, 2018 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday June 15, 2018 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel, 308 Lindsey St. Reidsville, NC. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens, also in Reidsville.
A native of Montgomery County, NC he was a son of the late James Lyman and Rachel Mashburn Deberry and had lived most of his life in Guilford County. He retired with thirty years of service with the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department, where he attained the rank of Sergeant in the Major Crimes Unit. He was a N.C. National Guard Veteran, a member of the Revolution Masonic Lodge # 552 in Greensboro, and was a pilot.
Survivors include: his wife Janet D. DeBerry of the home, daughters: Megan Sugg (Chris), and Morgan DeBerry both of Greensboro, a sister: Beverly Seawell (Steve) of Greensboro, grandchild: Baylor Suggs, and nieces: Stephanie Williams and Stacee Silvestri.

The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Thursday June 14, 2018 at Citty Funeral Home in Reidsville.
