Colleen Deaton Thacker

Mamie Colleen Deaton Thacker, 86, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Thursday June 28, 2018 at the Hospice home of Rockingham County.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday June 30, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eden Ward. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

A native of Montgomery County, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Jewel Saunders Deaton and had lived in Reidsville most of her life. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eden Ward. Colleen was preceded in death by her husband: Willie F. Thacker, brothers: Homer Deaton and Clarence Deaton, and a sister: Lois Gregory.

Survivors include sons: Jerry L. Thacker and wife Susan, Larry K. Thacker and wife Judy, and Joey D. Thacker and wife Cindy all of Reidsville, sisters: Joyce Stanley and Mary Hawkins both of Reidsville, grandchildren: Jenny Thacker, Ashley Thacker, Krystal Pass and husband Aaron, Amy Thacker and Brian Tetreault, five great grandchildren.

The family will see friends 1:00 till 2:00 P.M.
