Clarence Alfred Ashley, 83, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday December 23, 2018 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital Greensboro.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday December 26, 2018 at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will see friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church.
A native of Person County, NC he was a son of the late Charlie Graham and Helen Pattie Rogers Ashley and had lived most of his life in Rockingham County. A retired employee of Burlington Industries, he was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Alfred was preceded in death by his wife: Wilson McKinney Ashley, son: Craig Ashley, grandson: Michael Brad Davis and brothers: Tommy Ashley, Cleon Ashley, and J.B. Ashley.
Survivors include son: Darrell A. Ashley of Reidsville, daughter: Tammy Ashley and boyfriend Tim Booth of Reidsville, brother: Donald Ashley of Burlington, and sister: Rachel Ashley of Burlington, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild
