Charles Houston Roberts

May 6, 1944-September 7, 2018

 Charles Houston Roberts, 74, of Reidsville, NC went peacefully home to be with our gracious Lord and Savior on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital surrounded by many loved ones.

 Visitation will be held at Citty Funeral Home Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and other times at the home of his son, Charles at 182 Richardson Road. Reidsville, NC. Funeral will be held Monday, September 10, 2018 at 2:00 P.M at Citty Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

 Charles was a simple and generous man that was a friend to all. He was famous for being found at Reid’s House drinking coffee and socializing with close friends (W.L. McKinney) multiple times a day. Charles man of many trades.  All that knew him, knew of his passion of music.

 Charles lived and breathed for his family He never wanted anyone to be without. Charles was survived by his children: Charles Wayne Roberts (Barbara) and Susan Michelle Roberts, grandchildren: Justin, Joey, Kendall, Hannah and Haley, and 8 great-grandchildren, and sister Emma Reeves (J.D Reeves). He was preceded in death by: mother Ruth Edwards Moore and father Hershel Lee Roberts and siblings: Pat (infant), Freeda, Daryl, John, and Paul.
