Carolyn Brown Rivette

Carolyn Brown Rivette, 82, of Winston-Salem, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday April 18, 2018 at the home of her son.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday April 22, 2018 in Greenview Cemetery.

A native of Fulton, NY, she was a daughter of the late Clayton L. and Mary Thompson Brown and had lived in North Carolina since 2007. She was a retired employee of the Oswego County schools where she worked as a teacher’s assistant. She was a member of Wentworth United Methodist Church and had volunteered with many community organizations. Carolyn was preceded in death by a grandson: Clayton A. Law and a niece: Patty Ann.

Survivors include her son: Randy Rivette and wife Diane of Winston-Salem, daughters: Carolyn S. Tate and husband Randy of Reidsville, and Kathryn M. Clayton of Elizabethtown, KY, a sister: Virginia Fahel of Fulton, NY, seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

The family will see friends following the service at the home of her daughter: Carolyn Tate 130 Duke Farm Trail Reidsville, NC
