I met Charlie for the first time just few weeks ago at Edgewood Place. We chatted for quite awhile as I heard all about his family. His dinner got cold but he didn't care because he wanted to brag on his kids, grandkids, his grandma who raised him and oh so much more! It was a delightful visit I will cherish. May all of you, his family find comfort in God who loves you.

I'll never forget the time you brought watermelons to us at football practice in August of 1970. They were some of the best watermelons that I've ever eaten. Semper Fi! Mr. Lewis. Your Friend Barry Hales USMC/USA Ret.
