Celebrating the life of David Clifton Cobb, Sr.
Thank you for signing David Clifton Cobb, Sr.'s Guestbook
Daddy, I can't begin to say how grateful I am that God gave Cathy and me the opportunity to make it home to you and momma as your were spending your last few hours before you went home to the Lord. I will never forget the love and caring you had in your eyes as we were telling you how much we loved you. Even though you weren't able to talk, you spoke volumes with your eyes and told us how much you loved us. We know you no longer suffer and that you are truly home in the glories of heaven and in the loving arms of Jesus. You truly were and are a true and fateful servent. I know that you look down at us from heaven and I know you were there with us as brother Ron gave an incredible and moving tribute to you as a christian, a man, a husband, father and brother. He said something that truly illustrated the love we had and have for you, he said and I quote " he hopes that when it is his time to go home, he is surrounded by as much love as you were in the hospital". He also said that he knew that without a doubt you were truly saved and was in heaven. You always joked that when it was your time, no one would come to see you, well there were three churches there and they were lined out the door, over 100 people came to pay their repects. I know that we all are grieving and miss you being here on earth, but it warms our hearts and eases our sorrow to know that you are no longer in pain and have a new and perfect body and that you sing praises to God on high and am looking down on us with love and affection. I know we will see each other again and will once again be a true and whole family, but until then know that we are taking care of momma and know that you are in our hearts and thoughts. I will close with three things: We love and miss you, get your tickets and here here. Your loving and proud son, David Clifton Cobb, Jr.
