Peggy Daniel James

Peggy James, 86 of Parks Springs Rd. Pelham, NC went to be with the Lord Monday April 1, 2024 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Thursday April 4, 2024 at Thompsonville Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Jones officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will see friends at Thompsonville Baptist Church 2:00 till 3:00 PM Thursday before the services and at other times will be at the home 4024 Parks Springs Rd. Pelham, NC

She was born in Danville, VA, to the late Charlie and Nannie Mae Daniel and had formerly lived in Reidsville, but lived most of her life in Caswell County. Peggy was a retired employee of American Tobacco Co. and a member of Thompsonville Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with ceramics, walking, exercising, attending her church, and in her younger years water skiing. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Sharon Stallings, and a brother: John “Dot” Daniel.

Survivors include her daughter: Angie Hartness of the home, sisters: Mary Carolyn Savage (Billy Wayne) of Wallace, NC, and Annie Laura Roberson (Jimmy) New Port News, VA, grandchildren: Chris Meece (Ann Marie), Jon Meece (Vicki), Nathan Stallings (Morgan), Dillon Morris (Abby) and Tyler Hartness, great grandchildren: Ethan Meece, Sarah Southard, Tanner Meece, Dalton Meece, Ayla Hamilton, Nicholas Hamilton, Vincent Hamilton, Parker Morris, Macy James Morris, Chase Stallings, Lil Nate Stallings.
