Geoffrey Aaron Peoples

Geoffrey Aaron (Geoff) Peoples, 39, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 21, 2024, with his family by his side at Annie Penn Hospital.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Geoff will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Main St. United Methodist Church with Rev. Andrew Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Born in Raleigh, NC, he was the son of Michael Wayne and Llewellyn Sykes Peoples. He lived in Reidsville, NC most of his life and considered it home. He had a love for his community and enjoyed spending time with his friends, family, and dogs. Geoff was a member of Main St. United Methodist Church and was the Finance Manager at Carolina Development and Investments.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arnold “Jack” Peoples and Ellen Mary Oddi Peoples and by his maternal grandfather, Everette Sykes.

He is survived by his parents, Michael W. and Llewellyn S. Peoples of Reidsville, his maternal grandmother, Sallie Sykes of Reidsville, his sister:  Katherine Peoples Roupp (Christopher) of Roswell, GA and his brother, Christopher Peoples (Danielle) of Chesterfield, VA, along with his niece and nephews:  Leo, Grant, and Sullivan Roupp, Parker Merriman, Noah, and Lauren Peoples.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2024, at Citty Funeral Home.
