Calvin Wayne Gantt

Calvin Wayne Gantt, 77, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Sunday March 31, 2024 at his home.

A graveside service will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Wednesday April 3, 2024 at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will see friends at the home of his son: Daron Gantt 205 Pine Hill Court Reidsville, NC.

A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Cecil Perry and Ada Ingram Gantt and had lived in Reidsville his entire life. Calvin enjoyed old cars, collecting vintage toys, and watching boxing and MMA Fighting on television. He was very family oriented and looked forward to family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his wife; Frances Thornton Gantt, his son: Jonathan Dwayne Gantt, and his brothers: Melvin Gantt, Vernell Gantt and Timmy Gantt.

Survivors include: his daughter: Tammie G. Krites and husband Todd of Reidsville, son: Daron W. Gantt of Reidsville, sisters: Brenda Anderson (Rex) of New London, NC, Beulah Moore of Reidsville, and Linda Kay Gantt Page of Black Mountain, NC, grandchildren: Jon Gantt (Amanda) of Altamahaw, Tommy Wayne Gantt (Emily) Ruffin, Mason Wayne Gantt, and Caleb Matthew Gantt both of Reidsville, seven great grandchildren.
